During October the Art League Gallery features “Scenic Moments” oil paintings by Roy Rupy &“The Spirit of Hilton Head” expressed in three-dimensional works by Susan Knight. The show opens with a reception on October 13, 5-7 pm at the Gallery in Pineland Station and runs through November 8. The Public is invited, come and meet the artists!

The Annual Members Show opens at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn in the Hilton Head Regional Healthcare Gallery on October 9th with a reception from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The Art League hosts this exhibit, which runs through November 2.

Our Academy's Fifth Anniversary Open House is fast approaching on Saturday, October 11th from 12 noon until 4 pm. In addition to light refreshments, we will have a raffle with some class sessions being offered to the winners, a painting, and various other prizes. Between 12 and 3 p.m., there will also be faculty demonstrations including Yostie Ashley, Joanna Chalson, Donna Ireton, Ted Jordan, Mary Kelly, Don and Joyce Nagel, Uschi Niner, Jane Norris, and Lynda Potter; and some photos to share as we look back at our five years together. Bring any friends and neighbors with you who have inquired about what goes on at the Art Academy. See art in action! Everyone is welcome to attend this gala event!
