Marilyn DIZIKES and Vickie EBBERS have been juried into the South Carolina Watermedia Society's 31st Annual Exhibition. The show will be at the Franklin Burroughs - Simeon Chapin Art Museum in Myrtle Beach from October 25 through December 31,2008.
Joyce and Don NAGEL each received a $1000 Purchase Award at THE PASTEL SOCIETY OF AMERICA'S 36TH ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION at The National Arts Club in NYC. The exhibition is at 15 Gramercy Park South running through Sept. 20th, 2008.
Art CORNELL was recently commissioned to do a large abstract painting for a new restaurant and wine bar. The place is now open and is called WiseGuys and is located in Main Street, next to Frankie Bones Restaurant. The painting is the signature piece of artwork for the new restaurant and is called “Passion.”

Vickie BAILEY EBBERS earned the Member of Excellence Award in the S.E. Pastel Society International Exhibit; she won the Rose A. Caputo Award in the National Pastel Society of America's Exhibition - 196 entries were chosen from 1300 from the US&the world.
The Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio chose 15 paintings from the PSA Exhibit - and Vickie Bailey Ebbers' painting "Connie's Chair" was one of them - for a special event to be held later this year in their Giffuni Gallery of American Pastels, www.butlerart.com
