We've just completed two great events. The Arts&Flowers Show was a huge success and the National Juried Show, although short on sales, had the highest attendance in years. These successes were due to our Art League artists and program volunteers. Thanks to all of you!

Next on our annual agenda is the Member Show in October at Honey Horn and the “Got Art” Fundraiser in November. Get your artwork ready for both events!

Your Board continues to seek ways of improving costs and expenses. We've negotiated improvements in our Gallery lease, and are in the initial stages of renegotiating the Art Academy lease. The new on-line ARTICULATE newsletter is one of several upgrades to our communication program with Membership next on our “change” list.

The “Art Masters” fundraising program has begun and we're one-third towards our goal. Soon we'll be seeking new Board Members for 2009; it's a great way to get involved. If you are interested in helping, please call me at 681-8041.
