DIANE DEAN has been accepted into the Juried Picolo Spoleto Fine Arts Exhibition held throughout the Festival in Charleston May 22 - June 6. The exhibit is held in Marion Square.

The Sea Pines Garden Club is hosting a program on “Chinese and Japanese Gardens: Idyllic Retreats” presented by Paula Haller, an eminent authority and filmmaker on Far Eastern culture at the Coligny Theatre, March 23 at 10:00 AM. Haller will exhibit and discuss the beautiful garden scenes Chinese painters created. Tickets are $10, for more information call Diana Norlander at 363-6580.

VICKIE BAILEY EBBER'S painting "Morgan, Blue" has been awarded the ARTIST'S MAGAZINE/WATERCOLOR MAGIC MAGAZINE AWARD in the 142nd AMERICAN WATERCOLOR SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION. Award winning paintings make up the AWS Traveling Exhibition which will go on a circuit of Museums and Galleries around the country through May, 2010.
The Reception will be held at the Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. on March 31, 2009. Awards presented at the annual dinner April 24, 2009.
