“Fusion” - Paintings&Collages by Irene K. WilliamsonFor the past year, Art League Artist Irene K. WILLIAMSON has been working at honing her skills and engaging her imagination to produce a collection of artwork she has named “Fusion”. This show will be at the Art League Gallery in Pineland Station from November 11 through December 6. An opening reception will be held on November 11 at the Gallery from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
“The show is named Fusion,” says Irene, “because it best describes the unique combinations I've invoked to produce my latest work. I've combined painting with collage, abstraction with reality, form with free-form, paper with found objects to create this unique collection. To spend an entire year immersed in developing my new work has been a rewarding experience.”

Art Academy News
Art Academy NewsOn Thursdays through November 20th from 12:10 to 1 pm, the Academy is continuing to offer “Lunch with the Masters” where participants bring their brown bag lunch and enjoy wonderful DVDs of the world's most famous artists. On Nov. 6 there will be no class, but Gauguin (1848/1903) will be featured on Nov. 13; and Toulouse-Lautrec (1864/1901), Nov. 20. Artists and teachers, Don and Joyce Nagel, will be your hosts for this private “trip to the museum.” The viewing is FREE!
Our fifth anniversary open house on Saturday, Oct. 11th went very well. Approximately, 150 artists and guests joined us for the celebration. The teachers and several raffle winners loved the t-shirts designed specifically for the event. Our thanks go to Ted Jordan and Don Nelson for their efforts on the design. Cont'd
